Quality and Love - Kiran Jayal

                            

          बच्चा- आज तो मैं अटक गया हूंँ

                     गुणवत्ता को समझ कर भी न समझा हूँ

                      शायद कहीं भटक गया हूंँ

 

                   हर चीज में मै गुणवत्ता देखूं कैसे?

                  जो नयन ने दिखाया उसमें तो ढूंढ लूं जैसे तैसे

                  पर जो दिखाई ना दे इन दो नैनों से

                  उनमें  गुणवत्ता  देखूं कैसे?

 

                और जो हमसे कहती हो 'Silence please'

                बड़ी कड़क आवाज में 'Silence please'

                क्या इसमें भी है गुणवत्ता जैसी चीज ?

                समाधान करो मेरे अटकाव का, मिटा दो टीस, please!

   Teacher- Yes dear! We do ask you all to be silent

                  As we trust you, that's your quality

                 We ask you to be silent

                 with an intent on maintaining the sanctity

                 We ask you to be silent

                 as we ask for your inward action, interpretation, observance

                 I ask you firmly, with conviction

                As I want you to discover the fearlessness 'and purity in silence

                And dear! We do this out of sheer love

                Love that makes everything work

                Love, that is the quality of loved!

                Love that is you, me and us!!!

   Child- Ohh!!! Now I understand Quality as subtle 'nd obvious 

              Now I understand 'Silence please' doesn't mean you are furious

              I treasure Quality and Love that's so contagious

              And we shall grow with Quality and Love all around Us!!!
