Celebrating 50 years in India



Celebrating 50 years is a tribute to all the unsung volunteers who  have been the
best possible support to the youth of India. The video is not a true representation
of the effort of near 50,000 individuals who may have made this possible, please
excuse us for not having them feature in the same.

  1. Need to take the Award ahead: to introduce the Award in colleges and Schools. Request to NAA to provide formal letters and material to enable us to go and see the principals
  2. List of all camps happening in the country must be made available on FB ,website and blog so Awardees from any part of the country can participate. This will give them an opportunity to meet Award participants from other places.
  3. International camps and exchange program to be organized.
  4. GAHS Work strategy discussed and mailed to NAA

This week we congratulate the International Award for Young People India on 50 successful years! Well done to the National Award Authority team led by Sandeep Dutt, and all the volunteers, Award Leaders, operators, partners, supporters, parents and participants/Award holders who have contributed to 50 years of the Award in India.
 
As well as news from India and youth development stories from around the world, a highlight this week is the Georgian Wildlife show – an innovative and enterprising environmental science and practical English web/video project produced by Georgian Award participants.
